Youth Programs

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS The kids are in for a special treat this year! Jerry Jacoby (kid entertainer and motivator) will be speaking to our children, pre-K through 5th grade in the Field House each morning and evening, beginning Sunday evening. Mornings will also include hayrides, crafts, snacks and more! Jerry, and his wife Michaela, will lead a family worship time in the Big Tent on Sunday morning. INCLUDED WITH ALL PACKAGES, FREE TO ALL ON SUNDAY AND IN THE EVENINGS

NURSERY Children up to 4 years old are welcome in the nursery during all adult programs beginning Sunday. INCLUDED WITH ALL PACKAGES, FREE TO ALL ON SUNDAY AND IN THE EVENINGS

TEEN PROGRAMS

Youth in grades 6 - 12 can spend their mornings and Monday evening in the Teen Tent. A hayride and bonfire will follow Wednesday's Service. INCLUDED WITH ALL PACKAGES, FREE TO ALL ARRIVING AFTER 4 PM

ADULT PROGRAMS

Adults can participate in topical workshops on marriage, missions and more each morning, followed by a morning Bible study. INCLUDED WITH ALL PACKAGES.

Rev. Doug Newton is our Family Camp speaker. He is co-founder of the National Prayer Ministry of the FMC-USA and senior pastor at the Greenville (IL) Free Methodist Church. He served for fifteen years as senior editor of Light & Life magazine. He has also served as the Executive Director of Communications for the FMC-USA.

The Newtons have traveled widely in their speaking and teaching ministry. Doug has authored nine books. The Newtons have two married daughters and four grandchildren.

Worship will be led each evening by Paul Sunderland. Paul is an Assistant Professor of Worship Arts at Greenville College. Prior to coming to Greenville College, Paul was employed as a full-time Worship Leader for 15 years at a church in Ohio. Paul has performed full-time as a professional musician. He has led and coached bands in multiple arenas, written several worship songs and spoken at music industry and denominational seminars on music and worship in the church.

    There will be many events throughout the week! If you'd like to participate, be sure to sign up in the Welcome Center during your stay.

    The Comedy of David Dean: Saturday, 7:00 p.m.

    Staff vs. The World Softball game: Monday, 2:00 p.m.

    Sandcastle Building Contest: Monday, 3:00 p.m.

    Family Canoe Races: Tuesday, 2:00 p.m.

    Basketball Tournament: Wednesday, 1:30 p.m.

    Fun Run/Walk: Thursday, 7:30 a.m.

    Camp Soccer Game: Thursday, 2:00 p.m.

    Disc Golf Tournament: Thursday, 3:00 p.m.

    Family Movie Night: Thursday, 9:00 p.m.

    CRAFTS

    Both children and adults can enjoy making crafts in the Craft House, the brown building next to the tennis courts. There is a fee for crafts.

    FOOD SERVICE

    Food Service is available throughout the week. Contact our office or click here to download the food service form.

    FAMILY CAMP KICK-OFF

    We'll kick off Family Camp 2017 with a festival by the big tent on Saturday afternoon. It will run from 4:00 - 6:00. Come play games, go crazy on inflatables, visit the photo booth and reunite with Family Camp friends! Tickets for games are $.25 each and will be sold until 5:30 PM. Dinner will be available for purchase. Saturday, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

    Following the Kick-Off, join us for laughs with the Comedy of David Dean at 7:00 PM in the main tent.
