What's Involved?
During the Prime Time Spring Retreat, you'll dive into a variety of projects that help Somerset Beach Campground prepare for the busy summer season. From sewing and wood chopping to cleaning and organizing, there's something for everyone. Whether you're handy with tools or have a knack for tidying up, your skills will be put to good use. And don’t worry, there’s plenty of time to relax and enjoy the fellowship, too!
Who Attends?
This retreat draws a diverse group of volunteers, from seasoned retirees and longtime supporters to returning staff members and younger volunteers. Whether you're a familiar face at Somerset Beach or new to our community, you’ll find a warm welcome. Everyone is united by a shared love for service, connection, and the beauty of camp life.
Volunteers are welcome to stay overnight in the Lakeside Lodges, with all meals provided in the Cedar Center. You’ll have a cozy place to rest after a day’s work and enjoy shared meals, times of worship, and fellowship. Whether you stay for one night or the entire week, you’ll experience the warmth and camaraderie of our community, with evenings around the fire to round out your retreat experience.
