HEY KIDS!
Get ready for the best and most meaningful week of your summer. At Somerset Beach Campground, you'll have the opportunity to participate in many camp activities including swimming, boating, crafts, archery, and along with many unique games and activities.
The best part? Your counselor and cabinmates will become friends for life after a week of living and playing together. The relationships you build at SBC are what make your week at camp extraordinary!
DEAR PARENTS,
WE UNDERSTAND! It can be hard to send your kids to camp. Most of our year-round staff members are parents, so we completely understand that sending your child to camp is a huge decision and we take our responsibility very seriously.
We don’t want anything to distract from the opportunity your child has to learn about Jesus in a fun environment, so taking care of your child’s needs is the motivating factor behind everything that we do.

PATHFINDER DAY CAMPS
A day camp adventure designed for campers entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade. A week dedicated to diving into nature, making new friends and learning about the love of Jesus! Register your camper for one day or all five days.

ACTIVITY TRACKS
Campers attending Explorer, Young Teen, and Senior Teen Camp can select a morning activity track in addition to enjoying all the traditional camp activities. Browse the descriptions below and pick the one that excites you the most.
Activity tracks are included in the camp registration at no extra cost, but spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Creative
Track available at: Explorer, Young Teen and Senior Teen Camps
If you’re into drama, arts, photography, or cooking, the Creative track is for you! Bring your digital camera and memory cards.
Culinary
Track available at: Senior Teen Camp
Get hands-on in the kitchen and discover the art of cooking! Campers learn the basic culinary skills, try new recipes and create delicious treats to enjoy!
Sports
Track available at: Explorer, Young Teen and Senior Teen Camps
Spend time playing team sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee.
Target Sports

Enjoy two days at the slingshot and archery ranges, and two days at the rifle range.

YOUTH CAMP FAQS
If you register online, you’ll receive a confirmation email with additional information attached. No need to wait for anything to come in the mail. If you register by mail, you can select to have your forms e-mailed or mailed to you. Please allow up to 4 weeks to receive your confirmation.
If you DO NOT receive a confirmation, please contact our Camp Registrar to confirm that we received your registration.
Your child can request up to two roommates. There is an area to request roommates on the registration form. We do our best to honor ALL roommate requests, but if more than 3 people all request to be together, they may be split up.
We can accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions. We can prepare alternatives, but many parents choose to send alternatives that they know their child enjoys. If you would like to discuss your child's dietary needs, please email us.
If your child isn’t ready for an overnight camp, don’t worry! No matter which camp you choose, a camper can choose to go home each night and come back each morning. Parents will need to sign their child out each night at 9 PM and drop him or her off by 8:30 AM. Register your child, and then contact our office to let us know that he or she isn’t planning to stay the night. We do keep a bed for each registered camper for the afternoon quiet time, and in case he changes his mind about staying.
Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to a new, non-registered camper providing a two-week cancellation notice is given. Day Camp fees can be transferred 100% to another Day Camp for the same camper, or 75% can be refunded if 48 hours notice is given.

Sibling Discounts
If you have 3 or more campers attending camp, then read on! These discounts will apply as you go through the registration process.
- 3rd Child: $60 off for the 3rd registered child in each family.
- 4th or More Child: $120 off for your 4th registered child, and any additional campers beyond 4.
Winter + Summer = Swag Bag Bonus!
Register a camper for both winter youth camp and summer youth camp and we'll bonus your camper a free swag bag so they can show off their SBC gear!
It is our desire that no child miss out on a camp experience at SBC because of a financial hardship. SBC provides financial assistance through partial scholarships to families in need. Scholarships are made possible each year through generous donations from individuals and organizations. While it is our desire to assist as many families as possible, we cannot guarantee a scholarship to everyone.
To apply for a scholarship for your child(ren) to attend camp, please:.
- Submit a registration for each child attending camp.
- Pay the deposit when registering online.
- Download and complete the 2025 Scholarship Application.
