WINTER CAMP FAQs

What time is check in?

Registration is from 6-7 PM on Friday. If a camper arrives later than 7 PM, please call 517-688-3783 and let us know ahead of time.

What time is pick up?

Winter Camp will end on Sunday at 3 PM. If your camper will be picked up early, please notify the camp office at 517-688-3783 prior to your arrival.

What do I bring to winter camp?

WARM recreational clothing, including long pants, boots, winter coat, scarf, gloves or mittens, hat, ear muffs, etc. We’ll be outside and we want each camper to stay warm. Necessary medications to be collected by the health officer or your group leader.

Winter sports equipment - sleds, ice skates (we will have some equipment to be borrowed, but if you have your own you can bring it.) Please label your belongings!

Don't forget your bedding, such as a sleeping bag or linens for a standard twin bed, pillows. You'll need your necessary tolietries, including towels. And also bring your Bible, reading and writing materials.

What shouldn't I bring to winter camp?

Snack foods or candy (no food or drink is allowed in the lodge, other than what is provided by our staff).

No electronics, including games, ipods, cell phones. If you bring any of these things we’ll be happy to hold them until you leave.

Where do we stay overnight?

Campers and leaders will stay in the lodge. Each lodge room have bunked beds and a restroom, plus we have a large meeting space in the center for our indoor group activities.

Should I bring any money?

Snack items, t-shirts, sweatshirts and other souvenir items will be available at the Trading Post during free

time. Please do not send an excessive amount of money with your child. Hat prices begin at $15 and sweatshirt prices begin at $35.
