Get ready for the best and most meaningful week of your summer. At Somerset Beach Campground, you'll have the opportunity to participate in many camp activities including swimming, boating, crafts, archery, and along with many unique games and activities.
The best part? Your counselor and cabinmates will become friends for life after a week of living and playing together. The relationships you build at SBC are what make your week at camp extraordinary!
Dear Parents,
WE UNDERSTAND! It can be hard to send your kids to camp. Most of our year-round staff members are parents, so we completely understand that sending your child to camp is a huge decision and we take our responsibility very seriously.
We don’t want anything to distract from the opportunity your child has to learn about Jesus in a fun environment, so taking care of your child’s needs is the motivating factor behind everything that we do.
Kids Need Camp
In today's fast-paced digital age, children are often consumed by screens and schedules, leaving little room for the wonders of the great outdoors. But we believe that every child needs camp, now more than ever.
During an average week (prior to the pandemic), a middle schooler watches 2,121 minutes of television and spends 623 minutes at a computer, but only 51 minutes outdoors. Camp lets kids unplug and remain unencumbered by technology for a few days.
It's not just a place; it's a sanctuary for deepening one's relationship with God, a haven for building lifelong bonds, and a place where faith takes root and grows. Join us on a spiritual journey that will show you why, amidst the hustle and bustle of the world, kids still need to take a step back – to camp.
