Camp is seriously fun!

Hey kids! Get ready for the best and most meaningful week of your summer. At Somerset Beach, you'll have the opportunity to participate in many camp activities including swimming, boating, crafts, archery, and hiking along with many unique games and activities.

The best part? Your counselor and cabinmates will become friends for life after a week of living and playing together. The relationships you build at SBC are what make your week at camp extraordinary!

CAMP IS SAFE

Most of our year-round staff members are parents, so we completely understand that sending your child to camp is a huge decision and we take our responsibility very seriously. We don’t want anything to distract from the opportunity your child has to learn about Jesus in a fun environment, so taking care of your child’s needs is the motivating factor behind everything that we do.

We will work with the health department and observe all Covid-19 guidelines for ensuring our campers' safety. Because the guidlines are changing almost weekly, we will be providing more information as it's available.

What is camp like?

Camp schedules are created with the age group in mind. Our younger campers have a structured free time in which they rotate to free time activities with their counselors. Our older campers have more freedom to choose which free time activities they’d enjoy most. Each day, campers join together for singing and learning. This is a time when they learn more about God and His Word. No matter which camp they attend, we’re sure they won’t get bored!

Explorer, Young Teen and Senior Teen campers will choose specific activity tracks that they will participate in each day.

Campers will stay in the Lakeside Lodges. Each lodge has eight rooms and each room has a bathroom, so the rooms are completely private. Approximately 8 - 10 campers and one counselor will stay in each room.

Our cooks strive to prepare healthy, well-balanced (not to mention delicious) meals, often including a salad and fruit bar. Our cooks prepare alternatives for campers with food allergies.
